Shannon Trivett
2026 Clerk
Hello everyone!
I’m Shannon Trivett, Clerk for the SCNA, proudly from Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA). My daughter and I were introduced to tabletop showing in 2016 when we brought a Serama pair we had hatched to a local show. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms. We joined the SCNA that very day—and it truly felt like coming home. Since then, the SCNA has become much more than a club to us; it’s a family. Through SCNA, I’ve built lasting friendships and traveled across many states, not just to attend shows, but to enjoy the camaraderie and shared passion of our fellow members. Giving back to the SCNA and helping it grow has been one of my greatest joys.
Over the years, I’ve clerked and tabulated at numerous shows, managed multiple events, and mentored first-time Show Managers. I’ve also contributed creatively by designing informative graphics on Serama varieties, as well as recruitment posters and promotional materials that help introduce others to our community. From January 2022 through December 2023, I proudly served as SCNA Clerk on the Governing Council. Even after terming out, I remained actively involved in improving the club and was honored to return to the role of Clerk in January 2025, where I continue to serve today.
Outside of poultry, I am a Commercial Property Manager, Marketing Director, and IT Manager for a regional commercial real estate firm. I bring a broad range of professional experience and am committed to using my organizational, analytical, and technical strengths to help the SCNA continue delivering the best resources possible while supporting, following, and streamlining the CBL. Above all, I am a level-headed, dependable team player who will always act in the best interest of the SCNA.
