SCNA Copyrighted Images — Terms of Use

A Reminder to Our Members

The Serama Council of North America (SCNA) creates and maintains a variety of original logos, graphics, photographs, artwork, and other visual materials for use in promoting and supporting the SCNA, its programs, sanctioned shows, and related activities.

These materials are copyrighted and remain the property of the SCNA or their respective copyright holders.

We are happy for our members to use approved SCNA images in ways that help promote the organization and its activities. However, use of SCNA copyrighted materials is subject to the following guidelines.

✅ Permitted Use

SCNA members may use approved SCNA images and graphics for SCNA-related purposes, including:

SCNA sanctioned show posters and advertisements
Promotional materials for SCNA-sanctioned or SCNA-affiliated events
Flyers or announcements promoting SCNA activities
Social media posts promoting SCNA events or programs
Educational or informational materials directly related to the SCNA
Other uses specifically authorized by the SCNA

When using SCNA materials, members should not alter, distort, or modify official logos or graphics in a way that changes their appearance or implies a different organization or affiliation.

❌ Prohibited Personal or Commercial Use

SCNA copyrighted images, logos, graphics, and artwork may not be used for personal branding or as part of an individual’s or farm’s identity, including:

Farm or breeder logos
Personal business logos
Farm signs or banners intended as permanent branding
Business cards or promotional merchandise
Clothing or other merchandise representing an individual, farm, or business
Website or social media branding for a personal farm or business
Any other use that suggests the SCNA image or logo is the individual’s or farm’s property, brand, or official identity

Membership in the SCNA does not grant an individual ownership rights or unrestricted use of SCNA copyrighted materials.

Permission for Other Uses

If you have a use in mind that is not clearly covered above, please contact the SCNA before using the material. Permission may be granted for certain purposes at the discretion of the SCNA.

Please do not assume that because an image is available on the SCNA website or social media pages, it is free to copy, modify, or incorporate into personal or commercial materials.
