If there is disagreement among the committee members, a separate meeting will be held so that concerns can be voiced and votes taken. | June 22, 2024 | View PDF |
| 2024-06-26 | Tech Development Committee | Krissy McLaughlin | Jenifer Lawyer, Angela Heili, Shannon Trivett, Lisa Hansen | - | - | We have daily/weekly discussions in our FB group | Exhibitors Guide is in final edits. Drafts have been sent to Jerry, Angela Panacci and Josiah for opinions as their positions and point of view are wanted for accuracy as judges chair and as a show manager in a different region. Quotes for printing have been gathered and in discussions with cost, fees and how to proceed. Jerry is on board with the printing, as we did for the Show Managers guide. Should get final numbers in a few weeks. Ongoing website work, created 8 new pages which will be the expansion and clarification of the current members resources page. Hoping to get those looked at by rest of committee and published in the next few weeks. Same information, just presented differently. Ongoing conflict with Copyright office with the 4 sets of images submitted. They are insisting we submit separate applications for each male and female, which would be a total of 8 separate copyrights at $60 a piece. I am presenting our case that each set will always be presented AS a set of male/female and therefore should be considered 1 image for each male/female pair. Waiting to hear back, which takes days per email back to them. Jerry said to just do what they want but I am trying to do my best to save the club money and me time, as I will have to edit each set of images to divide them into 8 individual files. Researching if turning the website into an actual app available on the Play Store and iOs sore so members can download an app instead of using a phone browser is worth the cost of $4 per month. I downloaded the 14 day free trial and converted the site to an app to test it. Works great, but would members use this? Considering a poll in the members group about it. it would basically put an app icon on your phone to click on and access the website content instead of opening a browser and typing it in. | Dependent on research mentioned above. | - | - | Most of the stuff I do is daily and ongoing. Exhibitors guide is 95% completed. | June 26, 2024 | View PDF |
