Many of you may be wondering why we are just now asking you to vote on CBL changes that were approved by the membership earlier this summer.
Here’s what happened:
Back in August, we posted our annual call for Governing Council nominations. This year, there were four GC seats available. After several reminders to the membership, we received exactly four eligible nominations.
According to our CBL, when the number of eligible nominees matches the number of available seats, an election is not required. The four nominees are simply offered the available seats.
When the CBL votes were originally conducted, we expected those changes to be included on a full membership ballot along with the Governing Council election. Since a GC election was ultimately not necessary, that full ballot never took place. So your 2027 Governing Council will be:

Kelly Waldren
Michelle Bagen
Melissa Ulmer
That means we still need to complete the membership vote on the next set of CBL approvals.
🗳️ The Vote Is Now Open
These are changes that the membership already approved earlier this summer. We are now completing the required voting process for this next set of CBL changes.
There will be additional CBL changes coming for membership vote soon. We are only about halfway through the CBL update project, so you will see additional votes as the remaining sections are completed and approved.

- Individual Members: 1 vote per question
- Lifetime Members: 1 vote per question
- Family Memberships: 2 votes per question
