Final Article of the Constitution – Explanation
This final article updates the language to make it clear that changes to the Constitution may be made when truly necessary, but they are not something that should happen often. The Constitution is meant to be a stable, long‑term foundation for SCNA, not a document that is revised regularly.
As part of this process, we are also developing more detailed procedure documents that will cover the day‑to‑day operations of the organization. These procedures do not need to be written into the Constitution or CBL, which will instead serve as a clear, streamlined guideline. This approach keeps the governing documents simple and consistent, while allowing us to maintain flexible, practical procedures that can be updated as needed without requiring a full constitutional change.

GOVERNING RULES, REVISIONS & AMENDMENTS TO
THE CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
The members of SCNA shall adopt and may from time to time revise such By-Laws as may be required or necessary to carry out the goals and objectives outlined above. The procedure and general guidelines shall be outlined and described in the SCNA Bylaws.
